Why WordPress?

Since WordPress was released in 2003 and subsequently licensed as free open source software under GNU GPL, it has been continuously developed by a voluntary community into this powerful and efficient platform, which today serves almost a third of all websites.

Evolving from its roots as a blogging platform, WordPress expanded to a full grown Content-Management-System. The flexibility and power of the built-in features, the Plugin architecture and its rich set of APIs, provides a capable platform for powerful and efficient Web Development.

In recent years WordPress made remarkable improvements and merged the REST API infrastructure into the core. This enables revolutionary changes, shifts the coding focus more towards JavaScript, introduces a standardized React-driven modular user interface and brings a visual builder into the core of WordPress.

Services

Plugin Development

Building websites and applications with growth in mind, the WordPress plugins architecture gives an efficient solution to separate independent features into their own maintainable modules.

Plugins extend WordPress core functionality. They can be extensively customized to implement your personal requirements, or can be used to share reusable features across multiple sites.

Theme Development

Whether itโ€™s landing-pages, social-networks or web-shops, the theme creates the first impression among the visitors.

The Theme is the main component of a WordPress website. It can be universal and multipurpose or developed to fulfill the individual requirements of a specific website.

REST API Development

The WP REST API provides endpoints to interact with WordPress data types from client-side JavaScript or remote applications.

This opens exciting ways for dynamic frontend editing and interaction with the WordPress backend, and ultimately paves the way for application development on top of WordPress.

Gutenberg development

Gutenberg is the new revolutionizing way of using WordPress. It modernizes the entire publishing experience, the editor presents the content as seen on the frontend and it reacts in real time.

Gutenberg introduced a powerful and expressive toolkit to interact with WordPress data and build react-driven modern flexible and beautiful user interfaces that seamlessly connect with WordPress.

Gutenberg is more than just the editor. Taking its libraries to the frontend opens up opportunities for endless creativity.

Interactive maps with Leaflet

Leaflet is the leading open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps.

Integrating geographic data and information into a website offers a wide range of opportunities.
From simple representation of geodata to spatial analysis, geoprocessing, routing, collaborative mapping and complex visualization of relationships and coherences.

Utilizing WordPress as a backend for managing geospatial data and Leaflet for visualization and frontend processing makes an efficient and flexible combination.

Multilingual Webdesign & Localization

Translating a website goes beyond the obvious content and includes HTML attributes, anchor texts, URL paths, meta-elements and more. Localization ultimately adapts the overall appearance to the specific cultural contexts and preferences of the targeted regions.
